Growing up I was never an outdoorsy person. I wore glasses because I thought they were cool and even had crush on one of the biggest geeks on t.v. I was such a klutz that I had no business being outdoors. My Dad loved riding his ATC but we were so young we never got a chance to ride it. I was a geeky skinny girl. My nose was always in books reading, investigating, researching. My dream presents were telescopes, microscopes and an encyclopedia. My interests have shaped me to who I have become today, just a geek with a passion to learn.
I love learning. About history, new inventions, anything sometimes everything. This really helps me to come up with ideas for this blog. I was researching Yuma, I have found enough information to keep me busy blogging for months. I really believe that Yuma is a gem in the desert. We are in the perfect place right by the river and minutes away from the sand dunes. The best of both worlds!
So I began my search again online. Unfortunately there is very little information posted about everything. Being on my quest is a bit physically challenging for me. I have to push my self physically to go places I would not ever consider going. From being a geeky skinny little girl to exploring the great Yuma outdoors is going to be a bit tough.
So most of the stuff on my list of 999 things to do in Yuma is Veronica tested and approved.
I’m off to start a new adventure…
