To ride on the Range you must have a high clearance and 4-wheel drive vehicle. All ATV, Dirtbikes, UTV, Side x side, sand rails dune buggies or regular vehicle are required to be licensed for high way driving under Arizona law.
The Barry M. Goldwater Range (formerly known as Luke Air Force Range) is located in Yuma Arizona.
Entrance to the Goldwater Range a is by permit only access. Once on the Goldwater Range, you must be prepared to present your entry permit upon request to personnel from the Border Patrol, Air Force, Marine Corps or Bureau of Land Management. You must also keep the entry permit on the dashboard of your vehicle at all times. If the vehicle you are operated is not authorized to be on the range it could be towed away. Persons without valid permits may be fined and barred from future entry.
There are literally thousands of square miles of undisturbed wilderness. Drive ONLY on established roads.
