Make sure you are riding in areas open to off-highway vehicles.
In areas near the sand dunes, stick to designated roads and trails only.
Obey all speed limits where posted. It is always a good idea to slow down to around 15 miles per hour near campgrounds, campsites, and people.
Never race full-on near their kids and company, when there is a whole desert to explore!
Limit your ATV rides to the designated sections. One of the biggest problems duners face is that reckless trespassing and unsafe riding practices effect all of us.
Be safe, sober, and always ride with all your safety gear on. Be prepared for the worst.
Always carry a cell phone.
A GPS will help locate you faster and easier.
Carry a tow strap.
Carry a first aid kit.
Carry extra water. Especially during warmer weather.
