Are helmets required to ride a UTV’s?
Helmets are recommended but not required at this time.
Additional Information
Head injuries are one of the most common causes of deaths in ATV-related accidents. Protect your self while riding by protecting your head! Fit and comfort are the most important factors when choosing a rental helmet. The rental helmet should be snug around the head. When the helmet is securely fastened you should not be able to move your head inside the helmet. If it does, then the helmet is too loose and will not provide the right protection. A fitted rental helmet should not restrict your vision. Helmets with a frontl shield will also protect your face from various hazards. If the helmet does not have a frontal shield, goggles are recommended. However, even though it may not always be required, ATV riders are strongly recommended to wear a helmet at all times.
